About

Dr. Michelle Dickie

“Living life in a state of health & gratitude, and helping others do the same.”

With years of experience in the health and wellness industry, I play a lot of roles. I’m a chiropractor, a speaker, CEO of The Connected Family, a wellness coach, creator of the Kids Giving Thanks Movement, and author of the Giving Thanks Gratitude Journal for Kids.

On top of all that, I’m a wife, and a mom to four amazing children. My passion lies in taking a holistic approach when working with families to encourage lifestyle changes, healthy habits and a practice of gratitude.

Everything I do is done with a caring and holistic, but simple approach, to help you move past pain and stress, and on to healing. I’ll always go the extra mile to help, because your goals and potential are important to me.

Using techniques called Network Spinal Analysis and Koren Specific Technique, I am able to offer a gentle and holistic approach to spinal adjustments. I am the only chiropractor in Barrie to offer this combination of techniques. Patients afraid of the pressure used by traditional chiropractors, or where health reasons simply won’t allow for manual adjustments, find this approach to be effective and relaxing.

I find joy in the transformation I see in the patients I help and the affect it has on their lives, families, overall health and happiness. That I can be a part of that is the biggest gift I can give to the world.

For true healing to take place, I believe that the whole person must be treated… body, mind and spirit. That’s why I’ve spent years creating the services and solutions you’ll find on this site. You’ll find advice, health products and tools that treat the whole you, from the inside out, so you can reach your optimum health.

As a business owner and busy mom, I know the impact that deep meaningful communication and a positive mindset has on family dynamics and a person’s progress towards optimum health. From my own need to connect deeper with my family, I designed the Connected family program and Gratitude Journal for kids…two programs that I share with families looking for positive ways to strengthen their bond, embrace their diverse personalities and live a life of gratitude.

A self-diagnosed learning junkie, I’ve taken several advanced courses in extremity adjusting, pre-natal care, torque release technique, Network Spinal Analysis, Koren Specific Technique, cranial sacral therapy and pediatric care. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Life Science and Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Health from Queens University and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2001.
